The government is the primary beneficiary of conspiracy theories because it allows it to carry out its actions openly.

When someone comes out saying:
- Man has not been to the moon
- The Earth is flat
- Explosives were planted in the Twin Towers
- There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq
- Covid was a hoax

Lies, half-truths, truths all get mixed together and everything ends up discredited. This is what interests the government, when the reality is:

- Man did go to the moon
- The Earth is not flat
- No explosives were planted in the Twin Towers, but the U.S. facilitated the entire attack
- There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and the reason the U.S. started the war was that Saddam wanted to invalidate the petrodollar by accepting payment for oil in euros
- Covid is a hoax

False conspiracy theories are like shit that dirties everything—you can have good fruit, but if you smear it with shit, it’s no longer good.
