I often think of Ys 3 as my first Falcom game. Growing up a friend had it on his SNES and I found it at his house one day. At first I thought it was a Zelda 2 ripoff but ended up really enjoying it. It wouldn’t be until years later that I knew who Falcom was. Shortly after I realized I tried (and failed) to play Legacy of the Wizard as a kid. I did go back a few years ago now and finished it, old school style (NES manual only). Great game and my true first Falcom
