I could be mistaken but the only things I notice are some passive components present on one that aren't on the other, possibly decoupling capacitors. The one that has more of them on the left side also has a set of pads that aren't there on the one that doesn't have those additional parts, so it's probably two different PCB revisions in play. Is the part at the bottom the battery management/protection board? It would in no way surprise me for that to have multiple variants
