Here in Texas, you can conceal or open carry. No training or permits required. You can even walk around with an AR-15 slung on your shoulder. There's also no blade length limit on personal knives. You can carry a big ass 13" blade Bowie knife on your hip if you'd like. Leather saps and various clubs and batons are also kosher.
