I fell in love with this style in Poland and brewed a small batch a couple of years ago. It was terrible. Cloyingly sweet and just yuck.
Last year I had another one in the Icelandish winter and I wanted to have one of these smooth, warming, chocolaty winter warmers for the family christmas dinner.
I learned a thing or two since my first attempt, so I'm hoping that this batch is actually drinkable...
