Here is something that puzzles me but is totally trivial.
If you want to watch the BBC's iPlayer you need to have an account. If you want to do it legally you need to have a licence. It would seem trivial for the BBC to require you to link a license to your account. Presumably you have a database linking licence numbers to names and addresses with license numbers. Instead they don't. When I signed up, I could use a non existent email address, name and physical address. I'm happy about that. Why don't that make it a bit harder to cheat the system?
