People speak of shadow work and make it sound like it's all evading and scary.

They make it appear as if it's something people can't understand.

The Truth

Shadows is what's behind the emotions.

It's the stuff you don't see at first.

The Pattern

They make shadow work sound like:

· Something mystical
· Something dangerous
· Something you need special training for
· Something to be afraid of

But it's not.

The Unhook

A person that claims to be logical can understand it.

Because here's what shadow work is:

1. You feel something
2. You ask: "What's behind that feeling?"
3. You find the belief
4. You find where it came from
5. You release it

That's it.

That's not woo-woo.

That's just looking at what's behind the feeling.

Scripture and Shadows

The text also has shadows.

Stuff they left out.

Stuff they hid.

Stuff they didn't want you to see.

When you go into the shadows of scripture, you find:

· The parts they skipped
· The verses they twisted
· The truth they buried

The Unhook

Shadows aren't evil.

Shadows are just the stuff you can't see yet.

The Declaration

I'm not afraid of the shadows.

I'm looking at what's behind them.
