After completing 220 days on board the International Space Station, astronaut Don Pettit is back on Earth, landing on his 70th birthday on Sunday, April 20th. This was his 4th spaceflight, logging a total of 590 days in orbit. During his time on the station, he worked on a series of science experiments as well as doing astrophotography with a custom-built rig that counteracted the Earth's rotation and allowed him to take long-duration photos of space.
