I guess if you can bounce the judgement you put on others onto yourself, your awareness of how you treat yourself expands. Rather than being harsh you can reflect, as you said, and make better thought process choices, which will spill into your externally projected thoughts towards others.

Agreed on the acceptance aspect. Refering back to a previous post I made (About M), accepting the person who judged or wronged you (In the sense of them 'not living up to your standards'), as a form of forgiveness, and moving into a more loving space can only be good, as it will attract more of the same.

Your last statement is interesting, because it can easily be understood by different people quite differently. The key is catching yourself when those feelings arise and processing them, rather than your feelings leading your words and actions. Ask yourself 'why does this persons words/actions evoke this feeling in me', and like you said, how does this relate to past traumas.
