given how central the Milgram experiments seem to be to the worldview of late 20th century boomer liberalism, is there a modern retrospective on those experiments anywhere? like the moon landing, it seems to occupy a central point in the boomer worldview, so i'm wondering if, like the moon landing, it's fake and gay as well.
🤔 I can see this argument when we talk about biological differences (size, strength, etc.) combined with the influx of women entering (and changing the dynamics of) the professional workspace between the 70s ~ 2000s.

But with it, I'd also have to argue most men don't have agency (or, like some women, they don't think they do give the right scenario). The Stanley Milgram experiments showed how, with the right conditions, people will submit actions, against their moral will, because someone who looks like they're in a position of authority at Harvard tells them to.

The Scamdemic was an example of this on a global scale.
