I left a relatively high-paid, high-stress job running a magazine in 2000 and last night I had a dream that was not quite a recurring dream but hit a recurring theme that I never actually quit that job, I'd just done a no-call/no-show, and I still needed to go into the office to deal with official separation and the brass's disappointment in me.
