It’s wild that ostensibly neutral outlets would call a brief suspension of some tariffs during ongoing negotiations a “trade deal.” It just objectively isn’t that.

If there’s an explanation for it other than Trump and the WH press shop claiming they struck a deal, I don’t know what it would be.
