Idk if I told people to learn carpentry, but yeah for a while it made sense to me that LLMs could replace huge numbers of jobs.

I'm not a scientist. And all the scientists I read said the hallucinations would be worked out. I don’t remember seeing anyone admit they were intrinsic to the technology before 2025. And through 2025, Altman, Elon, etc. were still doing the AGI hoax. In my defense, I always called AGI a hoax.

Further, I’m ahead of most people now on the job replacement hoax. I still hear basically everyone saying AI is going to replace jobs, and "the market” clearly still believes this.

Automation will likely replace more jobs than LLMs.

AI can be used for war, because the Jews don’t care about civilian casualty rates. A lot of that wunderwaffen stuff is clearly overstated by Palantir and so on. But it can also do this mass surveillance and precrime shit. Previously, there was no way to actually process the NSA bulk data collection. Now there is.

Possibly most relevant is the new reality of being unable to tell if video is real. This is going to cause mass psychosis. That has already started.

There are all kinds of things AI is going to do, most of which are bad. But replacing humans in most jobs is not one of those things.
