I know that there are individual police who mean well and want to help. I know there are some who truly aim to serve others and protect vulnerable people.
But there are many who enjoy the violence, and use their power to injure, humiliate and abuse.
And even more individuals who aren't able to stand up against corruption, violence, abuse and racism in their colleagues, or to refuse orders to suppress and bully those that are not harming anyone.
And the system overall must be evaluated by it's outcomes, not it's aims.
A system which produces the outcomes in this thread can't be supported, ignored, or allowed to continue.
