This is a serious question, and I really hope someone will share their opinion.
I deleted my Facebook account during the 2016 Presidential election. It was so toxic, and it was making me depressed and angry. Now, I am trying desperately to get involved with groups that are pushing back against extremists. All of them have the majority of their online presence invested in Facebook groups. I really hate Facebook, but it is still a huge meeting place pro-democracy organizers. I'm torn.
My question is this. Would you create a new Facebook account so that you could more easily connect with groups? Please explain why or why not.
