I have 3 m1054s that have been in service since 2009, running 24/7.
Every few years the system expands, many brands have come & died, but of the 7 different Axis models I've used ranging from $300-$2400, they always work & have good support for updates. Panasonic has been good too, those are 5MP models from '15.
I've had many Vivotek failures, fuck those guys, bad reliability, weird sensor & memory faults, 5 died.
