New USB microscope arrived and as I suspected, the same thing in a different package. No branding on the scope itself, all the markings are even identical. The main difference is the base and the packaging. This one also has a neat little scale/calibration card. Not especially fond of either base.
Works just as well as the first one did. Better, actually. The first one had a little bit of dust on the sensor when I first got it but it cleared away with some air. Should have returned it then.
