Yes, this is absolutely possible. A small tool could check your own notes against each of your write relays and show which ones actually have the event and which ones are missing. For older notes I’d call the status MISSING rather than DROPPED, because we cannot know whether the relay never received it, rejected it, or removed it later. If the event still exists on another relay, the same signed event could also be resent to the missing relay. I actually like this idea enough to build a small tool around it. 😄
