Agh I’ve tried to find the article but it’s not coming up for me. I’d love to read it. I am a huge believer that the push to make joy/expression/creative behavior cringe was intentionally aligned with the beige cult/colonialtradlife agenda.
The neighborhood kiddos like to use my house as the hangout zone with my son and it’s mind blowing how often ANY expression would be called cringe. Not anymore, they’ve learned in my house cringe is king. But 11 year olds? Scared to be “cringe” aka FUN? Disturbing.
