It needed a LOT of work, which is probably why the couple who I got it from never did anything with it. They told me they'd had it over 10 years and all that time, it just sat in their garage! The amount of work it required was intimidating: huge chunks out of one door and chips to the finish. It also has very intricate woodworking with lots of crevices. I could see immediately that it was too difficult to strip and re-stain the pieces because of all the wood filler needed, and the fretwork.
