Watched Jersey’s golden boy Jack Hughes back on the ice for the Devils and the building was buzzing.
My daughter picked out her very first hockey jersey, not a hand me down from her brother. Could not think of a better way to spend a few sats.
My son committed to the bit with a full tooth costume, determined to get a laugh and make the Jumbotron. Mission accomplished.
But the best part was the kids watching a gold medal winner skate to center ice and say how proud he is to be from New Jersey, just like them.
