A few days ago I got an email from the UK gov, saying they couldn't automatically verify I fulfilled the requirements to grant me "settled status" so they were renewing my "pre-settled status", thus granting me leave to remain for 5 years.
It's been 6 years since I left the UK, and never asked for a "settled status".
