First of all this is a MOU, memorandum of understanding, not an agreement. Israel wants the war to continue, the neocons that heavily influence Trump and USA governments in general want the war to continue and also many people in Iran for various legit reasons, since they know it is an unfinished work. This is a ceasefire actually that benefits more USA than Iran. The good point is that there is now a compass towards a peace agreement, but i think we are not close yet.
