What have you learned along your journey?

You also have to deal with all the FUD: “made by the NSA, no intrinsic value, extremely volatile risk asset, controlled by china, money for criminals.” Then you learn about how it’s resistant to capture. The government can’t shut it down even though it’s hard to believe at first. So you put in the time to learn about the network to make sure it actually will last. You inevitably learn about the blocksize war and Silk Road. You start to think this actually could change the world. But it’s not physical, will it actually work? Now you put in countless hours consuming articles, books, and podcasts. You learn about Austrian economics and the history of the federal reserve. You learn about how its digital properties actually allow it overcome the limitations of gold, real estate, bonds, and stocks. You start liquidating other assets and allocating more into Bitcoin.

At every step of your Bitcoin journey, you are forced to reevaluate what you thought you already knew. Constantly telling yourself that you were wrong about Bitcoin and asking yourself how you didn’t look into this sooner is a common humbling experience. That’s why seemingly intelligent people don’t get into Bitcoin. They aren’t willing to stay humble and stack sats; so they’ll HFSP later 🫡
