3/3 It does poorly indoors. The leaves look a bit anemic and though it will push a few flowers, the fruit won’t reach maturity. The plant really needs full-blast sunlight and warm weather to be lush and green and set fruit.

Aphids are not a problem outdoors. The plant is mostly pest free except for the occasional katydid nibbling on leaves. Birds, squirrels and rodents love the fruit though.
