Piqued by your comments, I've just installed Slackware/KDEPlasma (not really minimal - I need to hone my slackware knowledge). This is on RPi4B8GB, to make comparisons with my RPi installs of ChimeraLX, Fedora41 and Ubuntu2410, mostly sway on gnome base. I also use KDEPlasma on x86_64 Manjaro - works v well.
