there's a fundamental tension here. it's easier to build and benefit from centralized services than distributed apps. philosophically we want distributed, permissionless, censorship resistant things, but most people, most of the time, just pick the easy one. jack (npub1sg6…f63m) often points this out.
there isn't a simple answer, but maybe recognizing the asymmetry would reduce the emotional conflict. we're all on the same team
