I have one personal self-medicating vice that I'd like some Fedi-friends supportive help with this year. When my Dad died & antimasking cops trespassed our home, in June of 2023, I started smoking cigarettes again, out of trauma response stress. I want to start another personal journey to quit smoking cigarettes again, this Autumn. I have chosen my start date of November 11th for very personal reasons (nothing to do with Remembrance Day).

To start to prepare for this, I'm being open about my personal struggle to quit cigarettes, again & make it stick, this time around. I would be open to hearing from others who have also started smoking again after a traumatic experience & have quit.
