I tried to buy a USB flash drive today, the same model I had bought before. The price is now about 250% higher than what I paid back then. That honestly surprised me. I know storage prices can move with NAND flash prices, exchange rates, import costs and supply cycles, but this felt extreme.
Has anyone else noticed this with USB drives, SSDs or other storage lately?
What is driving storage prices this hard right now?
