An Israeli soldier killed seven-month-old Palestinian baby Sam Fahed Abu Haykal in the occupied West Bank. The family was travelling to visit relatives in southern Hebron when soldiers opened fire and shot the infant, also wounding the mother.

The picture shows the father at the hospital with his son's blood on his shirt, and the baby after the killing.
