When I have a student that gives to my office that is also very clearly neurodivergent I drop my own masking so then it's just two people sitting in their respective chairs criss-cross-apple-sauce, fidgeting with stuff, not making eye contact, and then talking at a million topics a minute ADHDing the fuck out.
