The contention seems that because our struggle is perceived as hopeless, any risk is unacceptable?
Do these people not understand what it is to be an oppressed minority? Of course fighting for liberation is fucking dangerous. We all know the risks. And we don’t want anyone to take risks they're not comfortable taking.
That is why we specifically built the magazine as the most safe and anonymous way possible to spread our ideas irl.
You talk about it being unsafe for people of color. Sure. But then should those people of color not fight for their liberation? They knew the risks just as we do. And we, like them, continue to fight.
Huey Newton always said "The first thing the revolutionary must understand is that he is a doomed man". We understand very well what this fight may mean, and yet we fight it anyway, becuase our continued oppression is unacceptable.
Obviously I dont speak for people of color, I'm a white girl. That being said, I fucking trust them enough to make calculations about risk themselves. No one is being pressured into anything.
