The "test" instance has more than 30 active users and it's doing great, on a small 2 core VPS.
The no javascript - it's not false. You can use it also via lynx. If you have javascript, it works with it and you have an "enhanced" experience. Without javascript it will work, in a more basic way.
All Postgres would mean dropping the original target: being able to self host a small instance on a SBC like a Raspberry PI Zero W. And dropping that, the entire project wouldn't make any sense.
