I have a (now very old) smallpox survior lives near me. And yes, he's Ethiopian.
His face is a mass of scars. Not posting an image, but hit google.
I was at school with a girl who had contracted rubella in the womb. She had escaped relatively lightly - which is why she was :-
A - alive
B - in a normal school
I had mumps as a child. Good news, it didn't make me deaf or infertile, but it would have nice not to throw the dice.
Vaccinations are brilliant and I'll take all of them.
