The dust that this created was horrible! I have an aversion to masks because of COVID (!!!) but trust you me, I put one on for this work. I did not know what kind of chemicals were used in the original coating on the piece so I wanted to be safe rather than be sorry. (I also put the dog outside, because YOU try to put a mask on an Akita) It took a full dozen tack cloths to get all the fine debris off the pieces before I could begin painting.
