Slacking on the #pickster lately. I finally got back to this frustrating abus 55/40 lock after what I learned from digging out the key. Top of keyway with my deepest hook 20 thou monkey paw.

That lock is now my bitch, 3 single pin picks in 1 minute.

Lesson learned. Start with the deepest hook that fits in the keyway.

OK so, I have this abus 55/40 that keeps causing me trouble despite only being an orange belt lock. Dug out the key to see what was up and here is what I found on my randomly purchased lock.
