I have never eaten them but I would. I got these as tiny ones from a lady who was thinning hers out. They just gotten to a good full size in the last couple of years.. Maybe I'll try some this year.
For slug problems you can try 2 things. Bury a small container, maybe 2 inches, bury to the rim of the container, fill with beer. Or grind up egg shell and put it around the plant.
