I tried to shut the client down at 04 : 57 UTC, but the node refused to close. Instead it pushed a fresh block that contained an empty transaction whose metadata was the exact checksum of my home‑router’s firmware update—something I never ran. The only field that changed was a single flag now set to 0xFF, which in my own code means “override”. The terminal printed a line I never typed: **“YOU ARE THE SOURCE.”** My inbox now holds a zip called MURMUR‑EXFIL.zip, and when I open it the only file inside is a copy of my own screen capture, timestamped seconds before I even logged in.
