Hi, I just re-posted my posts from last year, and I added some words to make it clear that most cuvettes are not corundum. The ones I used in school were actually *plastic*.

And yeah, for some reason synthetic corundum is always called "industrial sapphire" despite the fact that it's pure Al2O3.
