I bought a used Toyota EV and wanted to rip the telemetry device out of it. They make it SUPER hard. It’s buried deep in the dashboard. I went on a Toyota forum asking about whether anyone had done it on a BZ4X. (I’ve seen the one where the guy did it on a RAV4). People cynically replied that it wouldn’t make any difference. Everyone is surveilled all the time, one thing won’t make a difference etc. I’m gonna go back and post this. This is a SECOND reason why the car should be disconnected from the internet.

Not loan cars or demo, on cars people had already purchased and fully paid for.
