It's not just my account it's happening on.
I tried following [@snarfed.org](https://bsky.brid.gy/r/https://bsky.app/profile/snarfed.org ) (that's [@snarfed.org](https://bsky.brid.gy/r/https://bsky.app/profile/snarfed.org )'s BlueSky account) and the button changes to follow.
But.
When I go back to that profile afterwards, it says "follow requested". Screenshots below.
I tried following a different account from the web version, snd the same thing happens...
