To anyone who follows me, who saw the post I just boosted and then unboosted, I'm sorry; I unboosted it upon learning that it was misinformation.
The Medicaid portal still works in my state. I reported said post and gave that (misinformation) as the reason.
This won't happen again, as I'll personally verify any and all information, to the extent I'm able to do so, before boosting anything like this in the future. I also blocked the account as well as the entire server. I will continue to do exactly this regarding any and all accounts who lie about things that are this easy for anyone, even as lazy as I am, to verify. (I likely will only block the account and not the server, if I follow anyone on said server or vice versa; neither was true in this case, so no one lost anything by my blocking it.)
In this case, it was simple: they said they had "verified reports" that the Medicaid portal is down in all fifty states, so I checked mine. If the Medicaid portal is somehow down in every state except for mine, that's still terrifying, and it still makes it a lie when they said they'd "verified" that it was down in all fifty.
Everything's getting confusing enough as it is; people lying on the internet is the last thing we need right now.
