Steve's Place on Nostr: An underground bunker, wherein many of the rich intend to hide from furious humanity, ...
An underground bunker, wherein many of the rich intend to hide from furious humanity, must have a source of fresh air. It may not be adjacent to a bunker door. There might be a better location at some distance from the bunker. Should it become plugged, or any fans in use stop circulating the air, occupants risk death by asphyxiation. That would be a horrible fate for the world's wealthy.
It could be miles away. It may be disguised.
Don't get me started about the dangers of launching billionaires into unforgiving space. So many bad decisions could be made in haste. Even with a competent team, if just one member hates your guts for what you've done to a friend, acquaintance, or family memb... er... accidentally forgets something critical to mission success, well...
Space never forgives anyone's tiny mistake. Ever. Not even those made in service to a Republican god.
Angering the entire world, except for your relatively dinky cult, is a very stupid idea.
