I want a DUMB TV.
Mainstream panels now ship with ACR fingerprinting (automated content recognition) and account gates because your viewing data beats the hardware margin.
I want a panel. Just a panel. Something that properly drives an Apple TV 4K (HDR, Dolby Vision, Atmos passthrough via eARC, HDMI-CEC) and does nothing else.
Looking for setups that have held up long term.
