Hmmm.
I think monogamy isn't a demon, but the entire basis of marriage. You essentially have an "open marriage", of the virtual variety, where you are free to have sex with anyone who isn't physically present in the room, including as an orgy with your spouse.
I think this model is unnattractive to many people because we prefer being sexually exclusive. We'd prefer to not have a mate, rather than to share one.
