Solid has its own problems, irrespective of identity -- I don't know many developers who'd say "if I just had a standard way of doing HTTP requests to and from RDF files my life would be so much better."

But on a high level, all of these efforts are adressing different parts of what should be the same elephant. The trouble is nobody so far has assembled the elephant in a viable way.
