a general strike is no better than any other protest, except that a lot of people who care deeply will lose the way they pay their bills. Can't call people collaborators for trying to save and survive, otherwise you alienate your movement instead of expand it. People wait and speak out where they can, instead of hurting themselves or their neighbors.

Anarchy seems cathartic, but it mostly hurts the innocent and is an excuse for the powerful to over react.
