Anyone on here have personal experience with anybody who has had #dementia AND #cochlearimplants?
Trying to figure out if it makes sense for my person to get another implant as their dementia progresses as the hearing specialists are recommending. It’s a big deal because she lives more than an hour away from the facility and cannot transfer her care any closer to home. I’m also concerned about her ability to attend appointments and comply with any recommendations as her dementia progresses.
