I'm with you on the newer cars. We bought a new Honda, and while it's a great car, all those "safety" features are a real pita. Always flashes lights at me cause evidently I ride too close to the car turning in front of me (I don't). I usually ccw, so I don't put my seatbelt on until I'm done backing out (seatbelt traps my access), and it starts barking orders at me, and it started auto braking one time when I went left of center around a mail truck. 😤 Just let me freaking drive for the love of everything Holy.
