"content": "learn to tie a tourniquet 🤙 you never know when you may need it! \n\ncrazy freak accident. slipped in light rain and put a filet knife through my leg \n\nhit an artery and the tibia. got pretty dicey very fast. \n\nluckily had some very level-headed friends there who helped me tourniquet and press and get to the trauma center and navigate the doctors in spanish \n\nanyway, feels like a good reminder to learn more first aid and accident response care. 🧠\n\nultimately got 5 internal stitches to close the artery, deep tissue and fascia, and 9 external.\n\nat least I don’t see my shin bone anymore 😭 🤙 stay safe\n\nhttps://i.nostr.build/QlJ8B1wBADqNYlbk.jpg\nhttps://i.nostr.build/AhAunO1BgoHVsxcv.jpg\nhttps://i.nostr.build/9sggxHlWfWbDDPp9.jpg\nhttps://i.nostr.build/UJ1djKVqGio6OlA1.jpg",
